What’s Been Going On?!
What's been going on!
What a fortnight we have had. Firstly, I want to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who gave their time to help out during the Open Events, they were SO busy and you all brought your A-game and absolutely smashed it. We were all so impressed with every single one of you. We have our last Open Event tomorrow in Northop and I can’t wait to welcome everyone to that brilliant site and show them what we have to offer.
We also had a brilliant meeting with the ILS students at Northop in which they were all very happy to receive their student rep hoodies and badges and are keen to get planning their own team-building activity underway! Cannot wait to see what they come up with.
Our student reps who are also a part of Senedd yr lfanc (Youth Parliament) have been very busy behind the scenes making a brilliant, informative video that will be published through the progress coaches as soon as possible – so watch this space for that!
Coming Up
Coming up we have CAMPUS COUNCIL. I hope you are all looking forward to this. It’s your opportunity to get your voice heard. We are so proud of everything you have done and all of the work you have put into being a student rep this term, and now you have the chance to put all of your training into practice. The dates and times for Campus Council are:
Monday 21st November – 12:15pm – 1:15pm – Yale
Wednesday 23rd November – 12:15pm – 1:15pm – Deeside
Friday 25th November – 12:15pm – 1:15pm – Northop
Monday 28th November – 12:15pm – 1:15pm – Bersham Road
Wednesday 30th November – 12:15pm – 1:15pm – Llysfasi
Please ensure if you are coming to the meetings that you arrive at 12pm to give us 15 minutes to make sure you are all prepped and ready and then we can get started promptly at 12:15pm. Remember – you can bring and eat your lunch during the meetings!!
On Wednesday 30th November we have a charitable event happening:
Charity Coffee Morning, for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
Yale, Hafod, 1st floor.
Wednesday 30th November 2022.
Cash & Card payments accepted.
Please come along and tell all of your classmates about this so we can raise as much money as possible for this brilliant cause.
