Student Presidents
There are two Student Presidents, one for Yale, Bersham & Llys and another for Deeside, D6th & Northop.
The Student Presidents are elected to represent the student voice within the college. They lead the Student Voice parliament, attend NUS events, and are involved in shaping college policy and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities of the Student President:
- Leading the Student Voice parliament: Ensuring student voices are heard and driving change within the college.
- Representing the college at events: Upholding the college’s reputation at NUS events and other relevant gatherings.
- Working with Student Vice Presidents: Collaborating with other student leaders to address student concerns and advocate for student needs.
Student Vice Presidents
At Coleg Cambria, Student Vice Presidents (VPs) are elected annually. There are 6 VPs elected; one Student VP per campus. They represent their peers, chair campus council meetings, and campaign for the Student President position.
Key Responsibilities of Student VPs:
- Representing Students: VPs are the lead representatives for all learners at their respective campuses.
- Chairing Meetings: They chair campus council meetings, which are similar to board meetings, preparing them for future careers.
- Campaigning for President: VPs campaign for the Student President role in the autumn term.
- Attending NUS Events: They represent the college at National Union of Students (NUS) events.
